This is actually very well done, as far as the recording. I think
the band has a good sound and a lot of potential to be better.
They are from Melbourne, Australia. I picked this album up from
Boot To Head Records (Caleb is Rad). The CD has 17 songs and
a few more songs on the hidden tracks. I've heard from various
people that Punkture reminds them of NoFX, but I can't stand
NoFX so I wouldn't want to put Punkture on their level. The
lyrics on this album are typical punk lyrics, they mention
skating, legalism, chicks, and of course GOD. The drummer
has that punk rock beat and the guitar has several leads which
sound cool, and the bass even has a few leads. So that's cool.
For those of you who get a kick out of punks, their guitarist
has a mohawk going...hehehehe....They are on some record
company called One Foot Records, I'm guessing it is an independant
label.
