This whole CD rips! I'd never ever heard Tendril, before receiving this
CD. Thanks so much Darren! If you don't know, Tendril is a three-piece
band from Bedford, Texas. They play the majority of their shows in Ft.
Worth, Arlington, and Dallas, basically the Metroplex area. This CD was
just released, like in February of this year, so get it while you still
can. I have no idea what kind of music this is, let's just call it fast,
hard, and abrasive with hardcore influence. The reason why I say that is
because there are a few hardcore songs, but it's more of just a hard
abrasive thing. For some reason or another some of their songs remind me
of Downset. That is so cool. The guitar has lots of change-ups, leads,
and even has that chugga-chugga sound. The drums are a steady and fast,
but yet have an agressive beat to them. The production and overall quality
of this CD, is great for an underground band. So that's RAd! As hard as
it is to chose, my favorite songs on here are: "Mr. Nash", "Sought For Cell",
"NUMB", and "Threnody". Their lyrics are kind of bold, like they touch
matters that people like to keep behind closed doors. But that's life,
and you have to expose the evils of this world. Don't think they are a
bunch of serious kids though, some of their songs are rather funny and
bring back memories. Musically this band is tight, everything goes together
well. This whole CD is phat! It doesn't include all the lyrics to their
songs, but most of them. This is honestly one of my favorite underground
CDs of this year. GET THIS NOW!
